Dhanush's two main upcoming production ventures include Kaala with Rajinikanth, and Vada Chennai starring himself in the lead role. Both are ambitious projects, which are highly anticipated in Tamil cinema.
 

Now, the music director of both the films, Santhosh Narayanan, posted about the progress of the film's score. He tweeted, "Thank you @beemji , @VetriMaaran and @dhanushkraja for giving me all the freedom to explore my musical expression for #Kaala and #Vadachennai. I can't wait to present to you the music of both the amazing films. Love you all - Will update details in the coming weeks :)"

Fellow music director Anirudh Ravichander replied to Santhosh's tweet, by saying, "Waiting Santi! Rage it my elder brother :)"
