RAJA MANDHIRI DIRECTOR'S NOBLE ACT

Director Usha Krishnan became a notable figure after her directorial debut Raja Mandhiri, which featured Kalaiyarasan and Kaali Venkat in lead roles.
 

The acclaimed director took to her official Facebook page to inform that she has donated her hair for cancer patients, in order to create awareness among people about cancer. We got in touch with her to know more about this and this is what she had to say:

"I generally keep myself involved or occupied with something or other and on that note, it recently struck me, why not donate hair for the cancer patients. Even if we cut our hair, it will grow for us in the coming days, however, the case is different for cancer patients. Even if they have to buy a wig, it will cost around 1 lakh or so, which is definitely not affordable for a common man. So, I decided to donate my hair to them".

Meanwhile, she also added that the script of her next film is in its final stages and would be locked very soon.
