RAGINI COMES HOME AFTER 140 DAYS; FATHER HAPPY, SPEAKS ABOUT CURRENT NEED

Actress Sanjana Galrani was later arrested along with 14 others, including her friends. They were lodged in the Parapana Agrahara Jail in Bangalore. Meanwhile, the petitions filed by them seeking bail were dismissed. Ragini's bail petition was filed in the Supreme Court on her behalf after it was rejected several times.

When the petition came up for hearing last month, the court directed the Karnataka government to send a notice to respond. Meanwhile, Sanjana Galrani was granted conditional bail by the Karnataka High Court last month on medical grounds.

The bail was granted on the condition that she appears at the police station one day a month and cooperate with the investigation. Thus after three months, she went home from prison. Ragini Dwivedi's bail plea came up in the Supreme Court yesterday.

The judges granted her bail. She returns home after about 140 days in prison. Ragini's father Colonel Rakesh Kumar was the one who tried hard to get her released from jail. He said, we are glad Ragini is coming home.

We are at peace now. We are making all arrangements to pick her up. He added that Ragini now needs adequate rest. He said they want to improve her physical and mental health.
