Yesterday, actor Raghava Lawrence had met Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister O Panneerselvam regarding the Jallikattu celebration event that he along with a few students had organised. Soon after, a section of the media had started reporting that Lawrence is in favour of OPS.
But the ‘Kanchana’ actor was quick to clarify through his social space that he is not supporting any political party. He went to thank Chief Minister for approving his Jallikattu celebration plan.
“Hi friends and fans, I do not support any political party. I am not such a big star to support party. When I told about our Jallikattu celebration plan to CM Paneerselvam, he immediately approved it. So I met CM Pannerselvam to thank him for that. I did not go to extend my support to one particular party. I don't have any political affiliation. I request the media to kindly take a note of this.”
