Radikaa Sarathkumar came to the film industry in 1978 and entered our hearts with her performances in films. But she entered our houses to become one in our families with her blockbuster serial Chithi, which is touted as one of the most successful serials in Tamil television history.
Yesterday, December 20, marked 20 years of the serial. Celebrating this date, her daughter Rayane Mithun tweeted: "You came and you conquered!!! 20years ago-20th dec 1997, the day you went from Radikaa to CHITHI!! It’s the hard work, dedication and love for the arts thats gotten you here!!! So proud of you, Ma! I Congratulations,@realradikaa ❤️ #20yrsofChithi"

Thalapathy Vijay's Mersal directed by Atlee is creating box office records down South. Also, the film has faced a lot of protests from few politicians for its dialogues about GST and Digital money. Radikaa Sarathkumar, actress and CEO of Radaan Entertainment had commented her opinion to a tweet posted by Dhananjayan about the same issue. Her tweet read, "The dialogues were an immature perception. Shld have just let it go or answered with clarity like late CM answered for Vishwaroopam issue."
