Yesterday, Producer KE Gnanavel Raja had filed a complaint against Kamal Haasan, stating that the actor had not repayed the amount of 10 crores that was borrowed from him during the shooting of Uthama Villain. Gnanavel Raja had filed this complaint with the Tamil Nadu Film Producers Council.
Kamal Haasan has responded to the allegation through a press note from Raajkamal Films, denying the same. According to the press note, Raajkamal Films have vehemently denied all the accusations put forward.
Raajkamal films have stated explicitly that the statement is false, and that Thirrupathi Brothers Film Media Private Limited had not contacted them during the dates of Kamal Haasan that were provided to them during May 2015.
Also, Raajkamal Films have mentioned that there is no personal association between Gnanavel Raja and Kamal Haasan, whatever rumors have been spread are to disgrace the actor. Hence, the organization names the rumors as baseless. Raajkamal Films have also mentioned that the situation will be faced legally.
