Producer Gnanavel Raja is next in the list of film industry stalwarts vying for positions of power and administrative responsibility. According to our sources, he has filed his candidacy for the president post of the Chennai Kanchipuram Thiruvallur District Film Distributors Association.

The producer also sought the blessings of the founder of the association, Mr Chinthamani Murugesan, after filing his nomination. The current president of the CKTDFDA is Mr Arulpathy.
