The South Indian Artistes Association has planned for a ‘Star Night’ in Malaysia on January 5 and 6. A series of events such as cricket, football and cultural events hosted by the stars will be held and the proceeds of the event will be used for the construction of the Nadigar Sangam building.
In accordance with this event, the Nadigar Sangam has requested the Producers Council for a two-day holiday from shooting on the respective dates. The Producers Council has come forward to approve the request and has granted holidays on the said dates.
It is notable that the popular stars like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and many more stars will be present to grace the event.
Actor Vishal’ next venture Irumbu Thirai’s shooting is on full swing. Being directed by Mithran, music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and produced by Vishal Film Factory, the film stars Vishal, Samantha and Arjun in the lead roles.
Director Mithran shared his filming experience with Vishal, “Initially I pitched this story to Vishal expecting him to just produce the film. But after hearing the story, Vishal not just accepted to produce the film but also wanted to be the villain of the film. But I insisted him to do the lead and I put the story in an army backdrop. Samantha will have a very pivotal role to play and it will definitely be a strong performance,” said the director
With George C. Williams doing the cinematography and Ruben editing, the film is expected to hit the screens by January 2018.
