Priyanka Chopra's next production venture will be a Bengali-Marathi bilingual based on legendary author Rabindranath Tagore's love story. Reportedly, the film is said to be a period love drama depicted from Tagore's real love incident during his teenage.
Before Rabindranath left for England, he stayed at his mentor's place in Mumbai where he fell in love with his daughter who taught him English. The love story did not continue for too long because of various reasons, and Tagore later left for England for his higher studies, and it is also believed his love interest got married to a Britisher.
Priyanka Chopra seemed to have fallen for this script written by Sagarika, and the film is expected to be directed by National Award winning filmmaker Ujjwal Chatterji. Priyanka Chopra who won the National Award- Best Producer for Ventilator (Marathi Film) is all set for recreating the same magic in this untitled film which is expected to go on floors soon.
