OFFICIAL STATEMENT: "CAN'T ASK FOR A BETTER DEBUT"

The film has given a slew of updates regarding the project's cast. The makers have recently announced that Yogi Babu and 'Unnale Unnale' fame Vinay will be donning the greasepaint for the film. The team has also announced that Priyanka Arul Mohan, known for her appearance in director Vikram Kumar's comedy Gang Leader, has come on board.

The actress took to Twitter to express her joy regarding her Kollywood debut. In the post, Priyanka opined that she can't ask for a better debut film than 'Doctor'. The project's shoot is set to commence soon.

On the technical front, Doctor features music composed by  Anirudh while 'Aadai' fame lensman Vijay Kartik Kannan will be capturing the film. Sivakarthkeyan is also gearing up for the release of his next superhero film 'Hero', directed by PS Mithran.
