Muthuramalaingam is an upcoming film which is being directed by Rajadurai and features Gautham Karthik, Priya Anand, Vamsi Krishna and others. The film is a significant one as it is the 1001st film of maestro Ilayaraja.
Sources tell behindwoods that Priya Anand plays a school girl in the film and that Gautham Karthik teaches her Silambam, a martial art form of Tamil Nadu. It is also said that the Kadal hero will have many Silamabam action sequences in the film. Apparently Priya also had her training sessions in Silambam for Muthuramalingam.
