Prasanth is playing the role of Ayushmann in the Tamil remake of this film. Simran plays the role, played by Tabu in the original. Prashanth's father Thiagarajan is producing and directing the film. Santosh Narayanan is composing the music.
The film has been titled 'Andagan'. The shooting of the film started a few weeks ago with a pooja. Actor Prasanth celebrated his 48th birthday yesterday. The film crew cut a cake for him at the shooting spot. They also celebrated Simran’s birthday which fell on April 4.
The first look poster of the film, which has generated great anticipation among the fans, was released a few months back. Ayushmann Khurrana played a blind pianist in the original. It is expected that music will play a major role in this film. Santosh Narayanan composing music has increased the anticipation more.
