Actor Prasanna was last seen in the 2020 movie ‘Mafia: Chapter 1’, where he played a baddie. His performance in the movie was highly appreciated by the audience and all his fans are eagerly waiting to see the actor in more such negative roles.
Recently, Prasanna took to Twitter to share about how his Electricity Bill had been very high during this lockdown. The star tweeted “How many of you feel #TNEB is on a looting spree amidst this COVID lockdown?”. Responding to his tweet, many of his followers also acknowledged the fact that their respective bills were also astonishingly high during the lockdown.
However, TNEB later condemned Prasanna’s Tweet, saying that his March Bill has also been clubbed along with this latest bill, and thus the amount is high.
Reacting to this, Prasanna clarified his stand on the issue, by posting a long message to the TNEB. His post read “It is true - I usually pay my bill within 10 days after the reading is taken. Since no reading was taken for the month of March, I haven’t paid the bill. I have never defaulted paying my bill on time in the past.”
Prasanna added saying “My tweet was not just to bring out the issue I was facing. I just wanted to know if many people were facing the same issue. My intention was not to blame the TNEB or the Government.”
He also said “Many people are struggling to make ends meet with this lockdown. If the Government and the TNEB helps them by letting them pay the bills in installments, it’ll be really helpful.”
Prasanna also mentioned that he has cleared all the dues from TNEB yesterday morning. Check out his message here:
