Actor Prakash Raj is known for essaying iconic villain in films such as Aasai, Ghilli and the action film Singam turned hero in real life by feeding 250 homeless workers during the Coronavirus crisis.
The ongoing lockdown has rendered many migrant and daily wage labourers jobless and circumstances have forced some of them to travel to their respective hometowns. Due to the, non-availability of buses, they have also found it difficult to travel too.
Prakash Raj started an initiative to feed homeless labourers at Kovalam, Tamil Nadu on a daily basis. Apart from that, Prakash Raj had also donated 150 bags of rice to FEFSI in order to supplement out-of-work technicians of the Southern Film Industry who depend on daily wages for their livelihood.
