Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsPrabhas will feature in another epic role, with mythological shades after Baahubali - in Adipurush. Prabhas will be teaming up with director Om Raut for this movie. Bankrolled under the banner of T-Series and Retrophiles production.
Adipurush is to be made in 3D, and will be shot in Hindi and Telugu and dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and several international languages. The film goes on the floors in 2021 and is expected to hit the screens the consecutive year 2022.
Apart from Prabhas, the ‘Sita’ of this film has been bagged by Kriti Sanon. While Sunny Singh is touted to essay the role of Prabhas' brother in the movie, Saif Ali Khan will be seen as the menacing villain.
Now, the makers have already announced that the film is all set to hit the big screens on August 11, 2022 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam simultaneously and is said to clash with Akshay Kumar's Raksha Bandhan on Independence Day 2022. Stay tuned!
