Recently, the poster of actor Dhanush's dropped film, Thirudan Police, has resurfaced on social media. The film was also supposed to be the debut directorial of cinematographer Arvind Krishna ,
The cinematographer has collaborated with director Selvaraghavan in many acclaimed films, including Pudhupettai, 7G Rainbow Colony and the much-delayed horror film Nenjam Marappadhillai. Announced in 2006-07 right after Pudhupettai, Arvind Krishna was supposed to write and direct the project.
The lensman turned director with the web series Thiravam, which starred Prasanna and Indhuja in lead roles. Dhanush's upcoming projects include Karnan, Jagame Thanthiram, the Karthick Naren-directed D44, and the Hindi project Atrangi Re.
Thirudan Police was supposed to be bankrolled by Dhanush's sister Vimala Geetha, with Yuvan Shankar Raja's music and songs penned by Na. Muthukumar.
