One of the much-awaited projects of the ace filmmaker, Mani Ratnam is his 'Ponniyin Selvan', which is the silver screen adaptation of the five-part Tamil novel written by Kalki Krishnamurthy.
Produced by Madras Talkies, in association with Lyca Productions, the film has a star cast that includes Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Sarathkumar, Ashwin Kakumanu, Lal, Riyaz Khan, Arjun Chidambaram, Mohan Raman amongst others in prominent roles.
Jointly scripted by Mani Ratnam and 'Kaatrin Mozhi', 'Kurangu Bommai' fame actor Kumaravel, the first schedule of the upcoming epic drama had kickstarted on December 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Reports were recently doing rounds that actor Mohan Raman will be seen as Chinna Pazhuvettarayar in the film. He has now cleared the air surfacing the rumours and has asked the audiences to not believe anything unless it is from Madras Talkies.
Nothing is valid unless it is from Madras Talkies. That will only be official all else is speculation.
