STR had recently embarked on a spiritual journey, as the multi-faceted actor is currently observing a 'vratham' for his Sabarimala Journey. STR was last seen playing the lead role in Sundar C.'s comedy flick Vandha Rajavathan Varuven.

After courting many issues, the actor is all set to star in director Venkat Prabhu's Maanadu, and the producer, Suresh Kamatchi has said that he will announce the date of the shoot's commencement soon. 

Recently, actor and former Bigg Boss 2 contestant Mahat Raghavendra posted a picture of STR's new look and captioned it as- Dinner with Swami. 

Apart from Maanadu, STR will also be playing a cameo role in the Hansika-starrer Maha, directed by UR Jameel. Mahat Raghavendra will be next seen as the lead in 'Ivan Than Uthaman', in which the actor is paired with fellow Bigg Boss fame Yashika Aannand.
