RAJINI'S BODY DOUBLE IN SHANKAR'S ENTHIRAN WAS PLAYED BY A POPULAR TAMIL HERO, KNOW WHO?

The film saw ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth play a double role as Dr. Vaseegaran the scientist and the humanoid robot Chitti.

With the entire country in lockdown and nothing, much happening in the film industry as the shoots are stalled, social media is buzzing with a lot of throwback photos and videos of celebrities and the recent one that went viral was about Enthiran. The body double for Rajinikanth in the film was acted by none other than the legendary Director P.Bharatiraja’s son Manoj K. Bharathi, who has acted in films such as Taj Mahal, Samudhiram, Annakodi and has assisted his father in his directorial Bommalattam. The working stills of Rajinikanth and Manoj are now shared by fans on social media.

Enthiran also starred Danny Denzongpa, Santhanam, Karunas and Kalabhavan Mani in supporting roles. The music was composed by A.R. Rahman and the film was produced by Sun Pictures. The National Film Award-winning director Bharathiraja is widely known for his rural films with realist native touch has directed 2 films with Rajinikanth in the lead, 16 Vayathinile, and Kodi Parakuthu.
