According to the reports published by the Chennai City Box office wing of Behindwoods, Pariyerum Perumal gets a Hit status. It has made an approximate gross of 70 lakhs in Chennai city from 10 days and if this run continues, it is expected that it may garner the Super-Hit verdict very soon.

Good word of mouth and praises from popular celebrities have helped the film to a great extent. Film stars like Kamal Haasan and Vijay have personally appreciated director Mari Selvaraj and hero Kathir for giving a good movie to the audience.
