Actor Pandu and his wife Kumudha had recently tested positive for Covid-19 and were being treated for the same at a private hospital in Chennai. But Pandu breathed his last on Thursday, without responding to treatment.

Now, as the mortal remains of the late actor are cremated at Besant Nagar, when Behindwoods got in touch with his son, Pintu, he said that his father was very much fond of the media.
