SURPRISE ANNOUNCEMENT: 3 TAMIL FILMS TO RELEASE COMING FRIDAY | 1 FILM BACKS OUT

We did not have any new Tamil releases yesterday, 7th of July, thanks to the 4-day long theatre strike in Tamil Nadu. Looks like producers are keen on releasing their films on next Friday, 14th of July. We already have 4 movies planned for 14th.

Initially, there was just Pandigai which had booked its berth. Later Gemini Ganesanum Suruli Rajanum joined the race. Today we have 1 more movie announcing its participation in this race, that would be Roobai.

We need to wait for some more time and check out the list of films that finally makes it to the screens this weekend.

Dream Warriors' Kootathil Oruthan which was earlier planned for July 14th, has now been pushed to July 28th. Producer SR Prabhu confirmed the same via Twitter, "We are pushing our film #KootathilOruthan to 28th July. Hope this helps in solving release issues among producers."
