Pa. Ranjith is a person who talks about the oppressed communities in the society and his films too portray that. We have seen him talking about the community politics in all his three directorial ventures, Attakathi, Madras, and Kabali.
 

The latest exciting news is that he has got into production and has released the trailer of his maiden documentary production venture titled "Beware of Castes - Mirchpur". This documentary talks about the discrimination and inequality that prevail in the village of Mirchpur in Haryana even now, at this modern age. The documentary is directed by Jayakumar, shot by Edmond Ranson, cut by R.K.Selva, subtitles by rekhs and music by K.S.Sundaramurthy.

Neelam Production is the name of his production house and this documentary being his first production, will Kollywood witness the Kabali director to produce any films in the future? Well, we will have to wait for that.
