Kalavani, a romantic comedy film that stood strong at the box office is now having a sequel to its film after a span of 8 years. We earlier reported that Vemal and Oviya are once again joining hands to play the lead in the film in Kalavani 2 directed by A. Sarkunam.
The shooting for the film started recently and now the latest official news made by the team is that Oviya has joined the team to shoot her portions from today.
Post Kathi Sandai, director Suraaj was reportedly busy scripting for his next outing, and the official announcement regarding the main cast of the film is now out. This film will feature Vemal in the lead role, with Vadivelu playing a major important character.
This yet-to-be-titled film will feature, both Vemal and Vadivelu as cops, on the lines of the director's earlier film, Marudhamalai. Vadivelu has had a good equation with Suraaj so far, and now, this news has made it a little more interesting.
Meanwhile, Vemal is also busy with his other films, and his next set includes:

3. A film directed by Majith, of Thamizhan fame
4. A film directed by Boopathi Pandian
Apart from these, his film with Varalaxmi, titled Kannirasi is in its final stages of production. On top of all this, Vemal is also juggling the shoot of Kalavani 2, directed by Sargunam, in this busy schedule.
