OFFICIAL: THE MUSIC DIRECTOR OF SUPERSTAR RAJINIKANTH'S THALAIVAR 168 ANNOUNCED

Thalaivar 168 will be produced by Sun Pictures, who had earlier bankrolled the Rajinikanth’s successful features such as director Shankar’s Endhiran and the Karthik Subbaraj-directorial Petta, which released this year.

The makers have officially announced that D. Imman will be composing music for Thalaivar 168. This marks the first collaboration between Rajinikanth and the music composer. D. Imman also scored music for Viswasam, and featured some of the year’s chartbusting songs.

On the work front, Rajinikanth is currently busy with the proceedings of Darbar, which is directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions. Touted to be a cop-based action film, Darbar is set to release on Pongal 2020.
