LEGENDARY CONNECT IN VIJAY SETHUPATHI'S FILM

We had reported some time ago that Vijay Sethupathi and Gautham Karthik had come together for a film being directed by Arumuga Kumar. Yaman will be the name of the character that Vijay Sethupathi is essaying in the film.

We had also mentioned that the team is looking out for a new girl as the heroine. Now the director has confirmed that it would be none other than Niharika Konidela, daughter of Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi’s brother Nagendra Babu.

Talking about Niharika, Arumuga Kumar says, “I got to know Niharika through a friend, met her and felt that she would be suitable for the role. I narrated the story, she liked it a lot and agreed to be on board. It is a very important character for her in the film.

We have started shooting for the past one week and I find Niharika a good choice. Acting comes quite naturally to her and it appears that it is an innate quality in her. She is not only a beautiful girl but also is a brilliant performer who works very hard. Despite belonging to a legendary family, she is such a simple, down-to-earth person and has absolutely no airs about her. I am glad to have identified a good talent. I am sure she will be someone to look out for in Tamil films”.
