Vijay Sethupathi is teaming up with director SP Jananathan for Laabam. Also starring Shruti Haasan, Sai Dhansika, Kalaiyarasan, Ramesh Thilak and others in major roles, Laabam is produced by 7C's Entertainment in association with Vijay Sethupathi Productions.
Now, it has been announced that Netflix will be Laabam's OTT partner.

Laabam has cinematography by Ramji and Vijay Sethupathi will also be sporting a bearded look for the film. D Imman scores music.
Vijay Sethupathi's last release was Ka Pae Ranasingam which opted for a director release on Zeeplex and received good reviews.
Shruti Haasan was seen in Amazon Prime Video's Putham Puthu Kalai. Her segment in the anthology was directed by her cousin, Suhasini Maniratnam. PPK was also received well by the audience.
