Oru Naal Koothu (ONK) directed by Nelson Venkatesan reaches its 25th day of screening today, the 4th July. The film features Dinesh, Miya George, Nivetha Pethuraj, Karunakaran, Rythvika and others.
Nelson shares his excitement on this impressive feat. “I feel really good for two reasons. Firstly, the film was well received by the press and the public which is very satisfying to me.
Right from the press show on the 8th, whoever saw the film, had left the hall satisfied. The kind of words they used- neat film, good film, pleasant film, and breezy- all these words were used by us during the scripting stages and I am glad our thoughts were echoed by people. Even the directors who called me to congratulate like Karu Pazhaniappan sir, Balaji Sakthivel sir or Dhananjayan sir used the same words.
Secondly, I am happy that even small characters got a good mention in the reviews, like for instance, Senthil Vijay, Lingesh or Abhinav along with the main characters. It was satisfying to observe the second level of casting also got noticed.
These two aspects gave me a complete feel.
And of course without the press and media, this would not have happened. I am thankful to them big time for the rest of my career. The kind of reception I had from them for the director and the cast and crew was really good.
For my next, I am working on my script and I have signed for a producer. I am trying to talk to few actors, the announcement of which will come soon"
We wish you the best Nelson for ONK to reach greater heights and also for your future endeavors!
