Superstar Rajini joins Sun Pictures for the fourth time. Prior to this, Sun Piictures had produced Endhiran, Petta and Annaatthe starring Rajini.

In this context, director Nelson has mentioned the names of the films he has directed so far, which he will be directing next. The leader in the series puts an end to the rumors by mentioning Thalaivar 169.

Filming for the new film is set to begin in August or September. According to sources, superstar Rajinikanth has undergone a make-up look test for the new film.

The last Superstar Rajinikanth starrer, Annaatthe directed by Siva was released last year (04.11..2021) on the eve of Diwali. The film starred Livingston, Pandiyarajan, Meena, Khushbu, Nayanthara, Keerthi Suresh, Suri, Satish, Prakash Raj, Jegapathi Babu, Vela Ramamurthy and many more.
