Popular Radio jockey turned actor RJ Balaji recently turned screenwriter for the recently released political satire LKG, which also starred the actor in the lead role along with Priya Anand while Nanjil Sampath and late. J.K. Ritesh played important roles.
Produced by Ishari K. Ganesh under the banner Vels Film International, LKG has went on to garner critical and commercial success. Meanwhile, the actor is currently gearing up for his next project with the same production banner for his next film. Our close sources have confirmed that the new project is titled Mukkuthi Amman, and will feature actress Nayanthara in an important lead role that is said to be powerful. It is said that the lady Superstar has accepted the offer for the well-written role and the good rapport she shares with RJ Balaji, for which she couldn't deny.
Apart from starring in the project, RJ Balaji is said to have penned the script for the film. Mukkuthi Amman is in its pre-production stage and will soon start shooting. Details of the rest of the cast and crew are expected to be announced soon.
Previously, Nayanthara and RJ Balaji featured in director Vignesh Shivan’s comedy Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and director Mohan Raja's Velaikaaran. With a combo that has proven its mettle by delivering successful outings, one can expect a fun-filled entertainer in the making.
