NAYANTHARA - 13 YEARS AND STILL STRONGER!

These days, it is the norm to celebrate anniversaries of films to star’s entry to any associated feature. In that breath, today, the 25th December 2016, marks the 13th anniversary of Lady Superstar Nayanthara’s entry into the film industry. She debuted in a Malayalam film titled Manassinakkare directed by Sathyan Anthikad. The film was a superhit and for Nayanthara, it paved way for a long stay in the tinsel town.

Since 25th December 2003, Nayan’s career has been marked by interesting films across Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu such as Ayya, Chandramukhi, E, Billa, Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Aadhavan, Bodyguard, Sri Rama Jayam, Raja Rani, Arrambam, Bhaskar The Rascal, Thani Oruvan, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and Maya to name a few.

In an industry that is male dominated, Nayanthara has come to stay on her own merit. She has attained the status of an artist whose name is just enough to draw the audiences to the theatres. She can carry an entire film on her shoulders and pull it through. Right now, she is in the purplest patch of her career where she has interesting films such as Dora, Kolaiyuthir Kalam, Aramm and Imaikka Nodigal.
