Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsIt was announced a couple of months earlier that Lady Superstar Nayanthara and her long-time beau, Vignesh Shivan would be teaming up together and presenting films under Rowdy Pictures which includes Rocky featuring Vasanth Ravi of Taramani fame and Koozhangal (pebbles).
The film which is written and directed by debutant P.S. Vinod Raj, has hit the headlines all for the right reasons. Produced by Nayanthara & Vignesh under the banner Rowdy Pictures in association with Learn And Teach Production, Koozhangal featured Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music composer!
A few days ago, Koozhangal had its premiere at the International film festival of Rotterdam and bagged an incredible feat on Sunday (February 7). The movie won the prestigious Tiger Award at this year's International Film Festival of Rotterdam.
For the unversed, Koozhangal is the first Tamil film to win this prestigious award. An elated Vignesh Shivan took to his social media and sharing pics wrote, “Winning moment! #TigerAward 2021 @iffr #blessed! First production of @therowdypictures wins this honour! Can’t get happier! Proud #elated blessed”
