“I AM NOT SURE IF I AM WORTHY OF THE HONOR”

Nasser wears many hats and excels in all of them. Having begun his service to art at the tender age of 6, he was discovered by the late K Balachander who introduced him in Kalyana Agadhigal in 1985.

Nasser has worked in more than 400 films across Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and English in a career spanning more than three decades.
 

Vel’s University in Chennai will be honoring the veteran with a Doctorate degree on the 7th of May at their university premises.

The ever humble Nasser shares his feelings with behindwoods, “It was a surprise for me. I am happy and excited. I did not expect this honor. I am not sure if I am worthy of it. Everybody tries to do their best in their job and I am also doing the same. Now my responsibilities have multiplied because of this. I will try to keep up to the honor that is being bestowed upon me. I also would like dedicate this to my parents.”
