Superstar Rajinikanth is currently basking in the success of his recent release Darbar that had hit the big screens on January 9th. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film featured Lady Superstar Nayanthara as the female lead.
Apart from the leads, the film featured Suniel Shetty, Yogi Babu, Nivetha Thomas, Jatin Sarna, Prateik Babbar, Nawab Shah, baby Manasvi Kottachi amongst others in prominent roles. The film also did wonders at the box-office.
Recently, reports were doing rounds that the Superstar has been denied his visa to enter Sri Lanka for some unknown reasons. To clear the air, Sri Lankan Prime Minister Rajapaksha’s son Namal Rajapaksha took to his social media and tweeted that the rumors surrounding the star’s visit to Sri Lanka are not true. He and his father are great fans of Rajinikanth movies. If the actor wishes to visit the place, he could do so and nothing would restrict him.
On the professional front, Superstar Rajinikanth will be next seen in Thalaivar 168 which is directed by Siva. The film features evergreen actresses - Khushbu and Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj, Soori, Sathish amongst others in prominent roles.
