WOW! THIS LEGENDARY ACTOR HAS BEEN APPROACHED FOR THE 1000 CRORE MAHABHARATA!

Malayalam epic drama film, Mahabharata, starring Mohanlal in the lead role is in its pre-production stages and the script work is going on at a rapid pace. The film, directed by V.A.Shrikumar and written by M.T.Vasudevan Nair, is produced by B.R.Shetty at a mammoth budget of 1000 crores.
 

Many rumours were speculated that Nagarjuna would be playing an important role in the film. However, there was no official clarification on it.

During a recent interaction with the media, Nagarjuna was asked about this, and for the first time, he revealed some exciting information on this. He was quoted as saying, "My next film after RGG, could be Mahabharata and I was asked by writer Vasudevan Nair to play Karna's role in the movie. I'm aware of Shrikumar's efforts to make the movie for the past four years and I got this offer, two years ago. Recently, Vasudevan asked me once again for my dates. I told him I will be a part of the movie if my character is also given enough importance and the writer said, it will be a prominent role. I'm waiting for the project to shape up completely and then I can share more details about it."
 

Now that is something interesting to watch out for. Meanwhile, names like Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan are also rumoured to be a part of this prestigious project. Let us wait for few more months for the project to shape up well!
