Director Lokesh Kumar's debut film My Son Is Gay has Anupama Kumar, Ashwinjith and Abishek Joesph George in important roles. The latest is that the film's certification by the censor board is done.
The film MSIG as it is shortly called is based on the gay theme and has made it to a few International Film Festivals. It has now received a U/A certificate from the censor board with no cuts. Good news for director Lokesh Kumar and team!
Independent filmmaker Lokesh Kumar's debut directorial, My Son Is Gay, after fetching critical acclaim in the Worldwide arenas, is now all set to be screened for the first time in India, in the Kolkata International Film Festival.
The screening is said to happen on November 25 at 7.30pm. It should be noted that 'My Son is Gay', is the first ever Tamil film to be made on the LGBT issue, in the 100 years of Tamil Cinema.
The film stars ace actors like Jayaprakash, Kishore and Anupama Kumar in pivotal roles, with Ashwinjith and Abishek Joseph George playing the leads.
