Legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam reached heavenly abode on September 25, plunging a lot of us into darkness. Now, it has come to be known that a music school in Nellore will be named in his memory by the Andhra Pradesh government. SP Balasubrahmanyam was born and raised in Nellore.
Industry Minister Mekapati Gautam Reddy tweeted, "Recognising the legendary singer #SPBalu, our Govt has decided to rename the Government School of Music & Dance in Nellore as "Dr. S P Balasubramanyam Government School of Music & Dance." (sic)
