“I HAVE AN IDEA TO UNDERLINE THE MYSTERY HERE”.

Sarathkumar recently commenced a new film which is titled as Chennaiyil Oru Naal 2 directed by JPR and funded by Kalpatharu Pictures. The film has Ron Ethan Yohann of Maya fame as the music composer. He tells us his plans and approach for the film as regards music.

“The film is a crime thriller, there are no songs in it and it has to be treated like an English film. There might be a title track. I read the script and tried to capture what the characters would say or feel and their mood, without seeing the visuals. I worked that way and completed the theme music. The director was very happy and liked it. I am planning to treat this as a mystery. When there is a mystery, there is always a search for something. Usually, in crime thrillers, we compose music as per scenes. I have an idea to underline the mystery here”.
