Muktha V Srinivasan, renowned director who had directed Sivaji Ganesan, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and the likes will be back to what he does best. Yes, the legend will be directing a film after 25 years of sabbatical.
This time around, he has plans to make a film titled Manida Neyar Ramanujar on the Vishishtadhvaitha profounder Ramanuja. The lead role will be played by a newcomer as the director wants no image baggage for this actor to play the role.
On his film, Srinivasan says, “This is my 45th film. Ramanujar is someone who broke a lot of religious and societal shackles as he fought for the betterment and development of everybody. I feel proud to chronicle the life history of such a sage. We are planning to start the shoot in March and complete the process in three months. We would be shooting in Sriperumbadur, Srirangam, Kalyanapuram etc.”
