Mohanlal's Villain to release for Diwali on the 19th of October. Vishal has also played a pivotal role in this Malayalam film. Vijay's Mersal would be releasing on the 18th. So Mersal would have a tough competitor at Kerala box office.
It must be noted that this is the 3rd time Vijay-Vishal films are releasing at the same time. The previous occasions were:
Pokkiri - Thaamirabharani (2007 Pongal)
Kaththi - Poojai (2014 Diwali)
We wish both the films turn out to be commercially successful
Thalapathy Vijay who recently completed his commitments for Mersal supposedly goes on a vacation to Barcelona. He was ostensibly spotted at the airport today, 18th of September and the photos of him and his flight tickets are trending virally on Twitter.
As reported earlier Vijay is likely to take a break from acting for three months before starting his next with AR Murugadoss. We are still not sure for how long would Vijay be in Barcelona.
