OFFICIAL: MOHANLAL'S NATIONAL-AWARD WINNING BIGGIE LOCKS A NEW THEATRICAL RELEASE DATE!

Directed by Priyadarshan, the film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas and co-produced by Santhosh T Kuruvila, and Dr. Roy CJ. The background score is handled by Rahul Raj, Ankit Suri and Lyell Evans Roeder.

The big-budget film was earlier twice decided to be released on the big screens but due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the film’s release was pushed. First release date was announced to be on March 26, 2020 but was postponed due to the 1st wave.

Secondly, the film was decided to be released on May 13, 2021 but again was pushed due to the 2nd wave and now, Mohanlal has taken to his social media and announced that the film is all set to release on August 12 as an Onam special. For the unversed, the film had bagged the National Award in the Best Feature Film category.
