The 24-year-old BAMS student, Vismaya's case, who had allegedly ended her life due to dowry harassment, had really shook the entire country.
The police have mentioned that the husband of the deceased S Kirankumar, who is the accused in the case related to wife Vismaya V Nair’s death, gets severe punishment, said South Zone IG Harshita Athalluri who was overseeing the investigation.
"It is not important whether it is a case of murder or not, the loss of a girl’s life due to harassment is what is important here", she said, while speaking to the media after visiting Vismaya’s home at Nilamel. So with that being the premise of the issue, several stars of the film industry throughout the country have spoken out against the dowry issue.
Now, Mohanlal has shared a scene from his upcoming movie Aaraattu, about which he has mentioned - "Say No to Dowry. Let’s strive forward and create a Kerala where there’s justice and equality for women."
