UPDATE ON MOHAN RAJA'S THANI ORUVAN 2!

Thani Oruvan, which released in 2015, was one of the biggest hits of that year. The cop-thriller was well received by all kinds of audiences. It had Jayam Ravi in the lead role along with Nayanthara, while Arvind Swami played the antagonist's role as 'Siddharth Abimanyu'. Hip Hop Tamizha composed the music.\

The director of the film Mohan Raja had announced that a sequel was on the cards for this film, and work will be starting soon. The expectations of this sequel skyrocketed, because of the good quality of cinema the first part offered. 

Today, he took to Twitter to announce reveal the person, who was the inspiration for Mohan Raja to make a movie on a Civil Service Executive. Jayam Ravi had appeared as Mithran IPS in the first part. Mohan also added a picture of the person, B.S. Mubarak, and said, he's working on Thani Oruvan 2 with Mubarak.
