MEGA UPDATE: JYOTIKA'S 50TH FILM GETS A FESTIVE RELEASE DATE - FANS SUPER-EXCITED!

Arisil Moorthy's 'Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum' starring Mithun Manickam, Ramya Pandian and Vani Bhojan in lead roles was released on September 24. The social satire movie revolved around the story of the disappearance of two bulls and the media circus that followed after. It garnered positive response from critics and audience. 

The second in line, 'Udan Pirappe' now has a release date. The movie stars Jyotika and Sasikumar in lead roles and has them playing the role of siblings. It’s said to be a story about sibling love and their emotions. It has been directed by ERA Saravanan. Amazon Prime Video took to twitter and said, "welcoming the queen #Jyotika with her Crown. This Dussehra, we bring to you a film filled with love, laughter, drama but above else, a celebration of family." The movie releases on October 14, coinciding with the festive date of Ayudha Pooja.

The third release will be Suriya-starrer 'Jai Bhim', a legal drama based on true events. The film sees Suriya play a lawyer for the first time. It has been directed by T.S Gnanavel and will premiere in November. The fourth release in December will be Oh My Dog, starring Arun Vijay and his son Aarnav Vijay. It is said to be about the bond between a young boy and his dog. The film is directed by Sarov Shanmugam.

Sasikumar, who was last seen in Samuthirakani's 'Nadodigal 2', also has SR Prabhakaran's 'Kombu 'Vatcha Singamda', Ponram's 'MGR Magan', Anish Azhanadan's and 'Pagaivanukku Arulvai' in his kitty. His 'Rajavamsam' is up for release on October 1.
