The adored love story 96 starring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha was directed by Prem Kumar. The blockbuster's 'Ram' and 'Janu' names have been embedded in the hearts of the audience after watching it.
The romantic-drama is getting another version in Telugu, directed by Prem Kumar himself again. The film was also remade in Kannada as '99' starring Ganesh and Bhavana in the lead roles.
Produced by Dil Raju, the Telugu version of the film is titled 'Jaanu'. This film also features music by Govind Vasantha from the original. The makers have unveiled the first look and the title of the film just now.
Actress Gouri, who shot to fame after playing the young Janu in the Tamil version, is also playing the same role in the Telugu remake too. "Lucky enough to play young Jaanu another time. I thank you, God." She tweeted and shared the first-look. Check out the tweet, below:
