Directed by Jacky S Kumar, ‘2 States’ will have ‘Theevandi’ fame actor Manu Pillai essaying the lead role. ‘Maradona’ fame actress Sharanya is the leading lady in the movie. The cast of this movie consists of actors Mukesh, Vijayaraghavan,​​​​​ Shammi Thilakan, Aroul D Shankar, ​​​​​​Indrans, John Vijay, U​nni Nair, ​​​​Kottyam Pradeep, ​​​​​Santhosh Keezhattoor. It is quite interesting to note that both of the actors made their debut in Tovino Thomas' movies, and it is only fitting that Tovino unveiled the title of this project.

2 States is produced by Naufal M Thameem and Sulfikar Kaleel under the banner of Renaissance Pictures. Sanjay Harris and Prashanth Krishna have handled cinematography for the movie. Jakes Bejoy has been roped in to compose the music for the film.
