Ace director Mani Ratnam who had watched Siddharth's horror film Aval at Sathyam Cinemas, Chennai has supposedly praised music director Girishh G for the proper use of silence in Aval.
Girishh took to his Twitter space to share his excitement, "That silence Girishh, so well done" - got to hear that and more from #Mani sir on #Aval 's music. Reminds of when another legend once told me that music is the conversation between notes and silence. #Overwhelmed #Legend #Gruham #TheHouseNextDoor @Actor_Siddharth @Milind_Rau."

AR Rahman has started composing for Mani Ratnam's next film. AR Rahman, Vairamuthu and Mani Ratnam had a five-day jamming session in Goa recently for this big-budget multi-starrer.
When we contacted veteran lyricist Vairamuthu's spokesperson to know more about this composing session, this is what we got to know, "The album will have six tracks in total, all written by Vairamuthu. AR Rahman has given us a rough composition for three of the tracks already. This will be another Agni Natchathiram kind of film from Mani Ratnam."
