MAMMOOTTY'S PATHEMARI WINS A NATIONAL AWARD!

Mammootty starrer Pathemari won the Best Malayalam Film award at the 63rd National Film Awards that was announced this (28th March) morning through a press meet.

This film was a Salim Ahamed directorial which showcased the life of Pallikkal Narayanan, who migrated to the Middle-East in the early 1960s, when the Kerala Gulf boom just started to begin.

Ace cinematographer Madhu Ambat worked behind the lens while Oscar Award winner Resul Pookutty took care of the sound for this film which was released on 9th October 2015.
