'PUSHPA' LEAK CONTROVERSY: MAKERS OF THIS BIGGIE ISSUE STATEMENT - HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED!

Directed by Sukumar, the film is based on real events and is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers at a huge cost. The shooting of this film was affected by the coronavirus threat in the beginning. Popular Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil would be seen as an antagonist in the film.

Apart from Allu Arjun and Fahadh, the film will feature Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Pushpa revolves around the red sanders heist in the hills of Andhra Pradesh. It was earlier announced that the film will be released in two parts - the first part, Pushpa The Rise, is all set to release this Christmas.

Reportedly, a fight and a song sequence from the movie was leaked before the movie’s release and now, the makers have taken to their social media and issued a statement, “We are deeply disturbed by the recent leaks of our movie material online. We condemn it and have lodged a complaint against the same in the cyber-crime department. The culprits would soon be booked by the law. Please do not encourage piracy.”
