The film was produced by Y Not Studios and had Sam C.S score the songs and the background scores for the film. The film was loved by fans and critics alike and it was commercially successful in the box office too.

The director duo Pushkar-Gayathri had earlier announced that they would be helming the Hindi version with Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. And the film is slated to hit the theatres on September 30, 2022.

Meanwhile, looks like Madhavan who had starred in the original version had paid a visit and after going through Hrithik’s performance, Maddy could not stop himself from praising him.
